Goose Valley Logo Goose Valley Natural Foods, LLC, the largest producer of wild rice in the world, officially launched the Company’s beta website, a resource for individuals, retailers and chefs to learn more about wild rice and purchase the Company’s product.

The website, located at www.goosevalley.com was designed in with the intent of educating the general public about the versatility of wild rice and to allow consumers and retailers direct access to the best wild rice.

Family-owned Goose Valley Ranch™ is nestled high in the Cascade Mountains, south of Mt. Shasta, in the evening shadows of Hatchet Mountain. Goose Valley is still a wild place – sharing Goose Valley with geese and duck, eagles and hawks, elk and deer, coyote, mountain lion, and bear. Since the 1980s the wildlife has grown along with their wild rice production. They started with a few acres, but demand caused production to expand making Goose Valley the largest grower of certified organic and natural wild rice in America. Goose Valley’s red volcanic soil helps give Goose Valley Wild Rice its nutty flavor. Most agree that the pure water from spring snowmelt is also critical. The summer’s hot days and chilly nights, and the winter’s freezing snow are ideal for growing wild rice.
