Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger goes "Wild" over California Wild Rice

"California Wild Rice is Totally Wild”, says Governor Schwarzenegger at the 2008 Annual California Ag Day held March 25th on the steps of The State Capitol in Sacramento to recognize the important role the state’s farmers and ranchers play.

U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Ed Schafer arrived at the west steps of the Capitol to join Governor Schwarzenegger, California Food and Agriculture Secretary A.G. Kawamura, other dignitaries and the public to honor California for its many agricultural accomplishments.

As part of the annual California Ag Day, Celebrity Chef Guy Fieri announced the launch of "California Grown's" Experience California: Recipes and Inspirations from the Golden State -- an online source for delicious recipes featuring California grown products developed by the Golden State's top chefs and culinary experts, complete with California Wild Rice.
